EEG and multimodal biomarker research, an ERP program used in a Phase 2 trial, and software for clinical operations.

At Alto, I worked on measurements that could help evaluate psychiatric treatments. I analyzed EEG, wearable, speech, and cognitive data from clinical studies and earlier datasets.

I built the event-related potential program across task design, acquisition, timing checks, and analysis. One of its measures became a primary pharmacodynamic endpoint in a Phase 2 trial. I also worked with the technical solutions team on collection pipelines and quality-control tools.

Later, I built LLM tools for eligibility screening, trial documentation, and speech-task materials. That work brought the research and software sides of my role together: understanding the team’s requirements, building a tool, and evaluating its output.

I joined in 2021 and stayed through the company’s 2024 IPO until July 2026.
