Education
I studied Bioengineering at UC San Diego and Neurotechnology at Imperial College London. My research moved from vascular scaffolds and artificial muscles to brain-computer interfaces and motor learning.
For my master’s project, I worked on a VR setup where people used a real pool cue and ball. We recorded movement and brain activity to study how they learned. It connected a research question to something I already cared about through soccer: how we get better at a physical skill.
London was also my first year living outside California. I played for Imperial’s first team while completing the degree.
Imperial College London
Motor-learning research using a real pool task in VR, with motion capture and EEG.
UC San Diego
Research in regenerative medicine, neural data, artificial muscles, and EEG interfaces, alongside software and medical-device internships.
Mission San Jose High School
Stanford summer research, varsity soccer, and the start of Ubuntu Athletics.
