What
A microrobotics project in Stanford’s Institutes of Medicine Summer Research Program. The lab explored devices that could be powered and steered externally for minimally invasive applications.
Why it mattered
It was my first experience working in a research lab, while I was still in high school.
My role
Worked with postdoctoral researchers to prototype a microrobot using piezoelectric and Lorentz-force propulsion.
Outcome
Presented a poster at the end of the program.
